Spin-offs Coming for Jersey Shore Stars

While their trip to Italy may be on hold, Jersey Shore residents Nicole “Snooki” PolizziPaul “Pauly D” Delvecchio and Jenni “JWoww” Farley have plenty of reality TV to look forward to in the future.

MTV confirmed Thursday that all three original Seaside Heights cast members will be starring in spin-offs scheduled to air in 2012. Jenni and Snooki will take on a 12-episode series that follows them through their life away from the shore house drama. “The locale may be different, but the friendship is sure to remain the same,” the network said in a statement. Pauly D’s project will show what life is like for the gelled-up, super-popular, Rhode Island DJ.

“The Jersey Shore cast is at the center of the show’s ongoing success and Nicole, Pauly D and Jenni have become household names as a result of their unique, sometimes outrageous and often hilarious personalities,” MTV’s Executive Vice President of Programming and Head of Production Chris Linn told UsMagazine.com.

So here is the official announcement. MTV finally let us all know that Pauly D, Snooki, and J-Woww are getting another show. Pauly D will be the star of his own show, following his life as a high profile DJ as he travels from city to city. The other show, starring Snooki and J-Woww sort of just follows their life and friendship,  and sounds kind of gay but believe you me, I’ll be tuning into both of them every week. The people, well mainly Pauly-D are just extremely entertaining and make for a really fun hour of television. I was never really in favor of Season 4 moving to Italy and it doesn’t surprise me that things aren’t going smoothy with the locals. Just go with your bread and butter, stay in Jersey, even Miami was not as good as the two seasons in Seaside. Maybe switch up the city in Jersey or something but seriously they should just stay there, it just fits better.

I have been thinking Pauly D was probably going to get a spin-off relatively soon, but my idea was much better than this one MTV has. I was thinking a Pauly D dating show where he is out to find the woman of his dreams. Sort of like a combination of The Bachelor and Rock of Love except with Pauly D as the guy they ladies are chasing. You can’t tell me  that would not be a great show! Let’s call it “Spinning for Love” and each girl gets a turntable or a pair of headphones they turn into Pauly when he spins them out of the house. Clearly I’m not a writer for MTV because those ideas for the show sound pretty lame, but whatever a Pauly D dating show definitely has potential!

And for all the people up in arms about Rutgers paying like $32,000 for Snooki to show up are idiots. Whahhhh they’re using my tuition money for this?? Cry about it. Every college uses some of its students tuition money for entertainment, whether its for concerts or speakers, it happens at every university in the country. And the line was out the door to hear her speak? How can you say that Rutgers was wrong in doing that when there was a clear buzz and excitement amongst the students. People are idiots stop complaining about that. By the way, I would’ve been right up at the front of the line to see her speak, you never know what is going to happen when a drunk piece of trash like her gets on stage in front of a large group of people. The other big complaint was they paid Snooki more to come speak than they paid to have like a Nobel Prize winner come speak. Who do you think a group of a few thousand drunk Rutgers students would rather go see speak at night, Snooki, or a Nobel Prize winner? You tell me?
